£5 will supply a needy family with a food bag of basic foods.

There are many needy families struggling with malnutrition. During the rainy season there is little work for those who work on the land or help with construction. No work equals no food.
The food bags are generally taken to a poor community and given out on a specific day. Cesar (one of our Honduran helpers) liaises with one of the village leaders to ensure that all is done in order, within communities where everyone is known to each other.
